I am trying to build a comprehensive list of galleys to improve on the Ej257 Block.
I have opened up the oil filter port, I have a ported, Loctite and shimmed 12mm oil pump.
Now looking to see if there is anything else that I can do while I still have the case halves apart.
All input welcome.
Attached are some pics of porting others have done, The diagram titled lubrication engine and related Oil Key text document are from another Subaru enthusiast.

OK, with the understanding I'm not too familar with the engine, some questions and comments.
1/ What is/are the known weaknesses of the engine when used in the way intended by the end user?
2/ What are the accepted modifications usually done to the engine?
3/ What are the intended results of the modifications?
