so i have a problem, block was at the machine shop and prepped then covid hit, no racing whatsoever, customer did not secure block and it got some rusting. what are some methods of cleaning the block without having to hone the cylinders again. right now i have a sand blaster gun that i am going to use baking soda to clean the block of surface rust, but i was gona take it back to the machine shop to have it re-honed because and main journals polished. let me know if you guys have any cheaper solutions. will try and post pics
