How do you go about determining oil clearance for the bearings? Is that something that comes with experience? Is it a formula the bearings give you relative to the power you want to make? Any guidance would be awesome.

yes it is a bit about experience and asking experienced builders with the type of engine you are building. the type of block and head materials and application of what the power levels are going to be play a large role in the clearances you will require
