Can you add launch control to an automatic boosted motor? (Gm Ls1 ecu.)
Yes you can. I asked in my thread just above yours, as to where to set the RPM to. The transmission doesn't effect the motor itself having two step. Now with the stock ECU no you cannot unless you want to run the MSD 2step box which I personally do not like at all, doesn't seem to be effective and the only thing you can set is RPM. I believe it's based on an ignition cut, however you cannot retard the ignition timing etc. etc. You would have to step up to a standalone to control the launch control through the ecu. HP Tuners does not have this feature.
