6.2 has large cam, unknown but less than 10 inches at idle. Bad rpm surge at idle after in closed loop. Rest of driveablity tune good, open loop idle stable at 900 rpm. A/F set at 20,still surge. Anyway to hold in open loop at idle? Any other ideas would be a help. Thanks
Look for the conditions to enter closed loop, perhaps there is a minimum RPM, or throttle position, that can be used for force open loop at idle. If you want someone to look through your tune for those parameters, you would need to tell us what platform you are using (ie, HP Tuners, EFI Live, etc), and post your tune file (since that contains the definition of what is possible with your ECU/PCM.
