Re: 2005 GMC/Chevrolet trucks/OBD2 Class 2 data line.
I would be grateful for any advice on how to read the class 2 data line. First objective would be the steering column sensor. A 0-5 volt analog signal goes into the BCM and the BCM sends that to other modules. Jumper wires to the steering column are not possible so I must get the info from the data line. Scoping it allows me to see communication on that line but deciphering it is not easy... :) Any help is appreciated!
