Hi everyone, I have Honda civic 2002 EM2, I am about to lower it 2-3 inches, suddenly I noticed that its cv axle boot is damaged. So I decided to change it and I ordered new cv axle rather than changing only boot but later on i figured out I ordered wrong cv axle as it is 4mm small (compressed length) than OEM. So I just wanna know is it too small or it will work. Thanks
The aftermarket suppliers often make them cross compatible with other models. You may want to check that it doesn't make noise (or vibration/feel throughthe steering) turning at full lock in both directions after installation. I did get a supplied WRX shaft which was the wrong lenght which unfortunately turned into a saga with the most convenient mechanic to my workplace.
