I'm looking to use a Motec DHB to control a pair of SPAL radiator fans. Is it best to mount the DHB adjacent to the fans or adjacent to the fuse block? Thinking that the switched load wiring could be 'noisy' so mounting near the load could minimise that or am I over thinking it? Heatsink recommended?

Definitely needs a heat sink, and preferably some air flow through the area that it is mounted.
Actual location for mounting it doesn't matter to much, as long as the appropriately sized wiring is used for the power supply and feed to the fans.
