Is there any simulator software for ECU tuning? Seems like something that should be out there, but I haven't been able to really find anything. Anything that seems legit anyway. It'd be nice to get some "hands on experience" without the possibility of breaking important parts. Anyone heard/use anything?
Bump on this one....I've been looking for exactly the same thing.
Something where you can select a vehicle that's sitting on a dyno, shows all the relevant information so you can see what is going on,
and along with it an 'ECU', where you can change parameters and see right there and then what happens to the outputs of the vehicle on the dyno.
Look into the old tried and true hardware option, JimStim. Megasquirt guys have been using variations of this for a couple decades now.
