Hi, Just a simple question about the knock sensors supplied with the link knock block ( https://www.nzefi.com/product/link-knockblock-g4/ )
Is it safe to leave them on the engine sort of permanently or should I take them off when I am done with them? Will any harm come to them if they are in the engine bay, bonnet closed, car on the track and heating it all up?
It's OK to leave them mounted all the time (although you may want to install a sealed plug to prevent contaminating the contacts). When used in OEM applications they are permanently mounted.
