Do any aftermarket ECUs support custom can messages?
There are a few that have some custom CAN capability but among those there is quite a wide range of different levels of flexibility in what they can do. Some for example will allow you to specify an ID and what channels are sent or received, but the structure of the message and scaling etc is quite rigid. Link and Maxx ECU probably have the most flexible CAN in consumer-level ECU's that Im familiar with.

i was mainly just curious because it seams like it would be demanded eventually but so many still don't allow for customization or only support there own can hardware.
