maxx mini, microsquirt, link atom-x, or elite 550 would be my approached options
NOT something I have tried, or even investigated, but you "may" be able to use the alternator ripple, or a single winding's voltage variation, as the crank sensor's signal, if you can clean it up, and the single crank pulse as the TDC position reference point?
