We all know how important knock detection is, but have you seen the price of entry level equipment? Not cheap eh? I'm not going to branch out into tuning for a living so can't justify the cost but I can't simply go without and have to have some sort of audio knock detection, its just good practice.
Although I cant take credit for this, here is a great "how to" make your own audio knock detection equipment that can cater for multiple sensors, portable or hard wired into your car. It produces grate clarity and works really well!
