Hi Car enthusiasts,
Am writing from the Sultanate of Oman,
and hoping to get some feedback.
I recently completed a newly built Engnie
From IAG 950 with IAG 750 Cylinder head
the engine assembled locally in Oman.
all sensors are brand new - Tomei High performance oil pump.
as Per IAG new engine break in manual
One of the break in oil that can be used is Amsoil SAE30 , unfortunately it’s very light and with the High temperature in Oman it even thins out more.
after completing 273KM ( 3rd service )
once the car was started everything was ok, as soon as hot ideal the Intake bank2 code popped up..
now am not sure Ist due to the oil used ? ( but way after 273km?)
or the avcs solenoid has failed or jammed?
note : the tuner tried to change the settings as much as possible however it holds then overlaps ..
He suggest to change the Oil used , whoever the other recommended oil by IAG is motul 10w-40 break in oil which is not available in the GCC.
I was hoping to get some information help me overcome this issue and continue engine break in and go for the final tune.
