Hi,
It’s very clear that most if not all injectors on the market start with a Bosch “core”. What I don’t understand is if all these companies are using Bosch cores, what do they change about them that makes them different from one another.

Hi John, most of the companies that sell modified injector states that. The modification is done by decapping the end where the holes are. I do modify injectors like this but I use a small lathe to have a more precise cut. Almost all the people I know that had done it use a grinder instead, but as you know, you can ruin the injector with a grinder. After the modification the injectors need to be flow tested to verify the operation. Most of them can gain 50% to 70% by doing this mod. Do a google search on injector decapping, its a lot of fun!!
