Hi there,
I've got an ME7.1 ECU for a handful of various VW MK4 platform cars (1.8T, 2.8 VR6 AFP, TDI). I only have map packs for the 1.8t and TDI. I'm curious if the memory address maps for things like Secondary Air Injection, Evap, 2nd O2 sensor/cat delete (for gas engines) would be transferrable or in the same memory addresses across say the 1.8T->AFP VR6.
The reason I ask is that the 12V VR6 didn't last too long in the MK4 platform and aftermarket support is pretty thin.
There are map packs for the 3.2 VR6 or the older Bosch MK3 VR6, so I was wondering if I look at the map packs for a few "close cousins" in build, that I could translate those same values to the AFP ECU.
I figured I'd ask before I just do a bench backup of all of them and find out for myself.
