Unfortunately it's not that simple. What an engine will handle is going to depend on the quality of the tuning as well as the history of the engine (or in other words what the mechanical condition of the engine is). What you may be able to get away with for a short period of WOT use such as a dyno run is also very different to what you may be able to support for track use where the engine is being pushed very hard for a long period of time.
There are examples of people making 500 + whp on a stock EJ207 but I certainly wouldn't recommend it if you want any kind of reliability. On our old Dynapack I'd normally go no further than about 400 whp as a bit of a guideline.
