New to building/tuning , and hoping someone will be able to help out with an odd one here. I have a n/a I'm converting to turbo (on the cheap for drifting) I have a ihi turbo (is20 from a mk7 golf gti) it has an electronic wastegate and I'm trying to find a way to control boost pressure using an independent voltage or pwm as engine is using a very basic piggyback ecu, basically something I can program that will activate the wastegate actuator when it receives a preset boost pressure.
Best bet would be to find a vehicle that has the same turbo and put a scope on it to see what sort of signals it wants then run an ECU that can supply said signal.
