I have a customer that ran his car out of fuel @ WOT under heavy boost and load. What are the chances of a fuel starvation issue such as this causing engine damage from a lean condition?
It's likely the engine has suffered some kind of DET, maybe not enough to affect the running of the car but I'd be sticking a bore scope down there, doing a compression test minimum, if not ripping apart the block to check everything
