Hello hope all are well. I have a question regarding knock sensor "desensitization". I've noticed my tune from a proclaimed professional has the knock sensors multipliers all set to 6.50 in all cells for all cylinders. The initial level is set to 120.0195 for all cylinders and min level is set to 50.00 for all cylinders. To me it seems as though he has basically turn off the KR sensors? I've attached a screenshot. The reason I'm looking at this is i can hear pops in the exhaust under acceleration and am logging small numbers of knock. If I'm logging KR with the sensors this desensitized it must really be some serious knock?
The engine is an iron block bored and stroked to a 408" with forged pistons, rods and crank in an '09 Pontiac G8 GT
