I have LSX with a 3.0 whipple on it running the Nick williams 103mm DBW throttle body with the Haltech Rebel ECU. Does anybody on here have some starting settings they are willing to share for the throttle body? I started off with the gm 90mm throttle body and its pretty good other than off idle. It would be great to start with some proper settings before fine tuning the off idle characteristics. Thanks.

What are you changing with the engine that you need approximately 30% more airflow through the throttle by using the 103mm over the 90mm? What sort of power are you wanting to be making?

I have dealt with engines that have these throttles on them, and to get any sort of driveability out of them, you end up restricting the amount that the throttle opens as they will usually flow much more air mas than the engine needs wide open. The larger throttles can also be tricky to get right coming off of idle as the mass flow changes considerably for each percentage of throttle opening.

The customer wanted 1200 hp which is the reason for the TB choice. Honestly it drives fairly well for what it is since I mapped out the pedal to tb translation table, its just hunts a tad when you slowly crack the throttle, I think some PID tuning will fix it, I just didn't want to start messing with that until I got the base settings right and I know selecting gm 90mm is not going to have the ideal settings for the 103
