Are you planning any in depth webinars on this platform?
Is it more advanced, more complicated over other ecu 's?
It's very popular and I don't think that has the popularity that it deserves.
We don't have our own development vehicle in house with a K20 in it which makes it difficult to provide webinar content.This may change next year but until then our hands are unfortunately tied.I assume you've already watched the full worked example in our Practical Reflash Tuning course? Are there any advantages compared to other platforms such as Link,Haltech wire in ECU's etc..?
Or they are both(Hondata vs Link,Haltech basically wire in ECU's) up to task.
The advantage is that Hondata is significantly more cost effective than looking at an aftermarket standalone ECU. It's also quicker as there's no need for any wiring. Reflashing using Hondata can handle just about any level of modification and really I'd only consider a standalone if you need advanced motorsport functionality, or more advanced logging.
