Im dealing with a methanol burnout car.

the issue is overheating from a 2min burnout run, does anyone have any experience with how rich you can get away with to help keep them cool? I was thinking around the .65-.60 lamba
The problem may be that you just don't have enough cooling of the coolant and, maybe, oil - while methanol burn "cooler", it's still darned hot and so there is still a LOT of heat energy being put into the engine, especially over 2 minutes. Worse, because the vehicle is barely moving there has to be plenty of airflow through the coolers, too, which isn't just down to big fans but careful use of ducting and/or shrouds to maximise heat rejection.
