Hello Tuners,
In running several events with our BMW racecar and having had several different drivers behind the wheel the idea of installing an ABS module has come up in discussion.
Has anyone installed an ABS pump from an OEM application into a race car? I am aware of the motorsports modules but the cost is out of our amateur budget.

I haven't personally done this however the ABS units out of the E46 M3 seems to be a common option for fitment as a standalone. You can purchase the required parts from a wrecker or alternatively there are companies selling complete kits - http://info.3dmmotorsport.com/mk60-motorsport-abs-standalone-guide
