For those following the most aggravating build of my life, the car still hasn't gotten out of the shop yet..
So here's the latest issue.. after tracking everything else down, we're now looking at a power cut at around 5k rpms on the dyno. The boost is all the way down and we're just trying to run it up tas we start our tune. No jerking, no noise, just drops off.. my build particulars are in the build thread, I'm on my phone at the shop trying to work through it now. Any ideas?
Hondata s300 with vtec off.. any ideas?
Okay looks like we may have a resolution after all of this.. the brand new map sensor was erroneously triggering. We removed the failsafes in hondata and it pulled perfectly fine. Although it didn't buck the first two times it fell off, after re-cranking it started bucking at power loss like before.
Without having more information, it sounds like you're hitting a cut for some reason. I'd very carefully check your settings and look through your log file at the point this happens to see if you can find some clues as to what's causing it.
