I've recently installed a turbo on my 2009 MX5 and I'm now wondering if there's a way to protect the engine against a lean condition while under boost ? Eg what if the fuel pump is dying or an injector get clogged ? Stock reflashed ECU for FI purpose so there is no such built in protections...
What sort of strategies or stand alone products could help prevent a catastrophic failure under such conditions ?

MS3 has an option of lean mixture false save...

Sounds logical that a stand alone ECU has such features! My issue is that stock ECU don't so I was looking for anything else that can protect my investment!
