anyone has experience with Link G4X + HKS Vcam + NZ wiring trigger on RB26?
I'm working with an experienced Link tuner from AU and also opened support ticket with Link.
We tried every possible settings.
The trigger scope is clean. Only when the ECU asks for 35+ advance, it becomes erratic.
while i'm waiting for Link for a possible solution, if you guys have any suggestions please let me know.
I have replied to the tuner this morning, we tested it in house on a simulator and it works fine for us. The reason it was losing control above 35deg was because one of the cam edges was crossing over the tooth that was set to be used as the sync/index tooth. The tuner said he tried different sync tooth positions but I suspect he never restarted the ecu after making that change. The ECU needs to be reset and engine restarted for a change of sync tooth to take effect.
