Hi guys, what aspects of the tune should i pay more attention on when tuning a fresh motor?
Such as boost pressure, afrs and rev limit.
The engine is an RB25/30.
If running it in on the road, then I would usually stick to the following.
- Rev limit to 6k
- No extended idling sessions (avoid heavy traffic)
- Keep boost to around 10-15psi max.
- Don't be afraid to load it up heavily (within reason) going up hills etc.
- Keep AFR in check, excessively rich will cause potential issues.
