Hi - since building the right manifold with a perfect designen wastegate placement might be difficult when space is limited.
So I did laser weld my wastegate directly to the turbine housing to overcome boost creep.
Within my next project I would actually do the same but wondering if someone ever did test the downside of it? Speaking about efficiency loss because of increased turbulences within turbine housing - esp when it comes to twin scroll.
Any thoughts appreciated
