What turbo kit do you use on your Toyota 86?

I'll assume you're talking about our development car?
We started with an AVO stage 2 kit but the base kit is quite modified now. We swapped the turbo out for an EFR 6758 and have modified the headers to include double slip joints for reliability (the stock manifold was suffering from warped flanges on the track).
The AVO kit in stock form is great for the street but we found flange reliability to be a big issue when tracking the car hard. Full Race have released a high mount EFR kit that may be worth considering.

I read your email some time back "The problem with low mount turbos" and also watched the ghetto brz build video on youtube to study the work you have done to the car. Some questions regarding your setup:
1) Does the EFR6758 turbo drop in without modification to the avo kit? Reason I'm asking is that I want to go down the same route. [Engine blew, so I'm in the process of getting it rebuilt] During this time I want to upgrade my existing avo kit with a better turbo.
2) When you modified the headers - are those the AVO headers that came with the kit? Are the double slip joints modification for the flange mating to the exhaust side of the turbo?
