Does anyone know what clearance should balance shaft have to bearing. I am installing gsc racing balance shaft and with new bearing I am coming with 0.006 thousand of an inch. Does this sounds right? Thanks!
There is nothing about them in 4g63 turbo manual, it just says to check them for damages and replace if any found...
Exactly, I checked manual and there is nothing about it. I was little wrong about clearance. Actually bearing was out of the block and clearance was 0.006 and after I installed it in the block it is in 0.003-0.0035 area. That look more accurate to me. It is oem new bearing and racing balance shaft measures exactly the same as oem so I think that's correct clearances.
