What is the benefit of using a turbo blanket? Why do you want to keep a turbo hotter than it already is?
A turbine converts enthalpy (heat energy) and kinetic energy (motion and pressure of the gas) into mechanical energy to drive the compressor. If you can get more heat energy to the turbine then you need less kinetic energy to do the same amount of work.
