Hi Hello car tuners,
Are carbon intakes better than plastic intakes in terms of thermal insulation?
I can't find much about it but I've heard about it before, when do you think? Have you done any tests?

It's difficult to find specific thermal transfer spec's, but the plastic tends to be also be thicker, so should be the way to go.
You could also paint/wrap it in a thermal barrier paint or material.
