Hello guys,
yesterday i picked up a 4G63 NA block with transmission from a mitsubishi lancer wagon from 2005.
Is this transmission the same then a evo 8 transmission? They look the same except this one doesn't have a t-case bolted to it.
Are they equally as strong?
Any input appriciated.

There should casting numbers, a plate, or a tag with codes on the gearbox you can look up.
No, it is not the same. It is very similar but not the same.
