Has anyone 3d printed an engine mount bush before? what kind of filament should i use for this?

ive considered trying this out on my 1992 Mitsubishi lancer 1.5L engine to see how they would hold up.

what kind of filament would be the best for this application?

I haven't done an engine mount, and I wouldn't be confident it would hold up to the stresses or temperatures in this case.

But we have done similar vibration damping parts with BambuLab TPU. There are lots of options out there for TPU/TPR/TPE - you'll want something quite tough and temperature-resistant.

Ive just brought some 95A TPU and now waiting for that to be delivered.

im going to try make 4 different types with different Gyroid infill %,

ill need to figure out the printing speed and best temps, but will update as i figure things out

Sounds like a good approach, I'd probably look at varying the wall thickness or at least using 4+ wall loops - keep us updated
