Hello

i I need to adjust my AFR to pass an emissions test, currently it’s very rich as tuned for time attack.

is there a particular sequence in which tables need to be adjusted?

ie, AFR-ve-timing

Also if I add 10% lamda for example do I need to decrease timing advance by 10% as well to compensate?

car is supercharged mini running ecumaster emu black

this is my first time adjusting things live on the car, I’ve spent time getting used to the software and controls so a little help would be appreciated

Peter,

Great question. Emissions tuning is becoming more popular around the world.

While it's a big subject and the whole tune matters, I'd start by focusing on your lambda targets. That's where you can make a huge improvement relatively simply.

Running the engine at lambda 1 at idle, light throttle, as it likely did stock, will be a big improvement. Whether for track or street, you generally don't need to run a gas engine rich where it's not required for knock resistance or component protection due to temperature.

At moderate loads, again only enrich where it's needed, and only the amount required to prevent knock or overheating of exhaust components.

Monitoring for knock will help you dial things in.
