In the video the radius of the bore is 100mm divided in half to make 50^2mm. Then multiply 3.142 and get 7,855^2mm. I been doing the math on bore size 87.5mm half is 43.75^2mm then multiple 3.142 to get 6,013.98mm. If there a decimal. Do I still have to use it or do I have to round up to the nearest 10th or 100th. I’m just a little confused about it.

Thank you for your time.

A bit surprised it's been marked resolved, when there's been no reponse?

Anyway, easiest and normal way is to use the Pi x Diameter (bore) /4.

It is also normal practice to use cm raqther than mm, because cm are the base units for piston circumference, as in thei instance, but also the bore are as that is used with the stroke to give the cylinder's swept volume, that's multiplied by the numbrer of cylinders for the engine displacement. When working out the static compressions, etc, cms are also used as Cubic Centimeters for the swept and unswept volumes.
