how do i know what ring gap to put is it a standard size ?
Have you watched the module on ring gaps? It's explained there. The ring gap will be recommended by the piston/ring manufacturer and you will need to calculate your required ring gap based on your bore diameter and whether your engine is N/A or forced induction for example.
