Trying to weld mild steel im having always the same issue, my tungsten is sharped, everyting is clean, but after a pair inches of welding tungsten gets dirty, and i'm plenty sure not touching the metal.
Are you sure you have the polarity correct for steel? Do you you have the correct gas and flow rates?
Are you using 100% Argon? If so, are you adjusting the post flow?
