Kindly guide, to tune engine do we have to change ECM or just need software and OBD VCI to make changes. In india we have bosch, continental, denso, magneti marelli ECM used.
It is going to depend on what time of ECM and vehicle you are trying to tune some tools are better suited for certain vehicles.

CMD Flashtech - Most stable tool on market. It do almost all "standard" cars in EU.
Autotuner - A bit unstable but is all in one OBS, Boot and Bench tool.
bFlash - Best tool for new cars and BMW
Kess v3 - good allaround tool
For first tool i have gone with CMD Flashtech.
For making changes to files use WinOls
Just purchased the AutoTuner tool after PRI and I am impressed so far
