Hi All, I’m currently setting up a wide band O2 on my Autronic SM4. This is for my zz502 in my 71 Camaro with port injection.
The original setup had a narrow band which has its limitations compared to a wide band so I opted to upgrade it to get more control. I went with an AEM 30 0300 gauge and wired it into pin 38 on the SM4 which allows you to configure a 0-5v unlike the pin 37 (normal narrow band O2 pin) that is limited to a 0-1v.
I’ve currently disabled pin 37 and activated pin 38 on the software but it asks for span and offset values in whole numbers. Can someone explain what span and offset is and how they correspond to AFR also how do I know what to input for span and offset?
have I wired this correctly? Or am I missing something?

There's a calculator built into Autronic's software - when you're on the 'I/P A/F' ratio page go to 'Edit-Window' up in the upper menu tabs and click on the bottom 'calc' option. You can punch whatever you need into there - if it's confusing you, for that gauge using gasoline as your fuel in AFR it should end up being a span of 4211 and an offset of 731.
