Hi all,
I'm trying to find the right crimp tool for DTHD04-1-12P DTHD06-1-12S DTHD04-1-8P DTHD06-1-8S DTHD04-1-4P DTHD06-1-4S I seem to be going around in circles.
Its in short the largest deutsch crimp.
Can anyone point me at the right options.

Looking at the TE Catalog, the size 12 contact are the same than the DTP version that can be crimped with the DMC Tools AF8 Crimper with the TH1A Turret on the Yellow setting. There is also some Deutsch tooling options, you can take a look the the picture I attached. (EDIT : Looks like I have problems to attach a file here, so here's the like to the catalog https://www.mouser.ca/pdfdocs/TE-DEUTSCH-ICTCatalog_revised-2.pdf take a look at page 185 of the PDF)
For the size 8 and 4, it states to use HDT-04-08 for crimping.
It seems rather expensive, but I've found a place in the USA that has a rental program of that crimper. Maybe there is something like that in the UK?

That really helps, I'm thinking a normal battery cable tool with the right forms might be a way cheaper option. I'm going to order some nock off size 8 and 4 and a battery tool and try it out.
