My ecu is ground to the body of the car, inside. The ignition harness has a ground to the valve cover. Does that count as being ground to both engine and body?
Ground the ignition harness to the cylinder head, Usually I do the ecu ground to the engine block.

I shorted a trace on one of the ignition outputs on the ecu. Trying to figure out how it happened.
