I'm about to construct a new 'front half' harness on an older vehicle. In order to clean up the engine bay, I'll be routing most of the harness under the front guards. What is everyone's preferred method of mechnical protection?
Hi Nigel good quality heat shrink and a protective sleeving of any kind over that in vulnerable areas where debris from the tyres etc could damage it
For things that might need service or where I'd benefit from a bulkier debris shield I use lengths of TechFlex's DuraWrap:
I've actually permanently attached the Durawrap to the body/frame and then used it as my attach points in a few setups as well.
