Good afteroon . I am looking for some help wiring a link xtereme ecu to the above mentioned engine
i have the k20 wiring harness and the plug kit for the xtreme ecu. would like to have a basic understanding of what DL1 AND DL2 is for what.

Probably DI1 -- Digital Input. That's what Link products seem to have on their connectors for unused inputs.
Where did you see this “DL1” terminology? The closest I can think of is “DI” which is Digital Input. These are for switch type inputs (such as high/low boost switch or frequency inputs such as wheel speed or ethanol content.
