Hi All,
I need to get more of this type of connector and some of the pins. This is a spare.
I pulled the male-style pins out to try and identify them, I had to force them out, and I couldn't for the life of me find out how to remove the grey insert; I'm assuming that need to be removed to depin this?
I put a two-pin pick in the holes on the grey insert, but it didn't make it any easier to remove the pins.
What am I missing?

I'm not familiar with these connectors but my guess is that you need to remove the grey insert as you said. You can use something like a DT Removal Tool (or something homemade that can get under the insert) to pull it out.
Thanks that looks like the ticket. Weird I ordered and DT crimping set, and it didn't have that tool.
