I have a cammed LS3, currently with standard factory injectors. However it's likely I'll upgrade the injectors in the future.

How do I correctly determine if my current factory injectors (and future planned injectors) should be connected to Peak & Hold Injector or Low Side Injector? I did some googling and found mixed answers, I'd ideally like to learn how to determine this myself.

Connecting to the Peak & Hold Injector outputs give you the most flexibility going forward. Peak & Hold Injector outputs can drive both low and high impedance injectors, where as Low Side Injector outputs can only drive high-impedance injectors (most common these days).

ECUs that only have saturated (aka low-side) injector outputs sometimes use resistor packs with low-impedance injectors -- this is more common in OEM ECUs where they can generate their own injector characterization with the resistor pack included.

Further to David's comments, where available peak and hold injector resources are always preferred to low side outputs. This is because the peak and hold injector resources have voltage measurement on them as well as some current detection (although you cannot see the measurements)

This allows for pin diagnostics, which make things like a disconnected injector easier to diagnose.
