I have an issue currently with my PDM32 and 10" dash setup that's driving me to making a swap of the screen (on crank the display blanks and won't recover - Have spoken to Aim and they're likely not going to add an option to recover from this)
I have 1 primary question I can't find an answer to elsewhere:
1) The dashes seem to be fairly smart themselves, so is it possible to pass canbus data for things like GPS, timing, etc.? (the ADU seemingly wants to see their own ECUMaster GPSmodule and no specific mention of PDM32 compatibility for the Strada Light - AI does find reference to compatibility with the bigger brother Strada devices though)
Looking at specs I can see both have 2 x canbus connections, so I'm expecting the Link ECU on one and the PDM32 on the other. I'm also assuming I'll have to create a can output config for the PDM32 to push out all the data I need onto the dash. Problem for another day :)
Ideally I'd like to keep costs down, so the Strada is most logical here in the UK, but I'm somewhat loath to stay on the Aim path as I'm really not happy with the current dash situation, nor the fact I can't actually edit the screen layout.
Any thoughts or help will be gratefully received.
