Discusión y preguntas relacionadas con el curso Instalación y configuración de PDM
Hey HPA team, im currently building an rx7 fc 89 T2. Im replacing factory fuse/relays. I have a ecu master pmu 24 and a nexus r3. The outputs on pmu will control all body devices. I have started collecting the currents of all devices the pmu will power, the pmu is capable of supplying a continous 170A which should be enough to safely power what i need it to. However i dont believe i have enough output pins on pmu (10 25 Amp outputs, 6 15 Amp outputs, 8 7 Amp outputs) every output is being used and i have paired multiple loads on 1 circuit to conserve space. The 2 major things i couldn't fit on pmu were my electric ps pump and my mercury sable cooling fan. My only thought was to run two separate relays for just these devices. I've seen similar builds on youtube and they aren't having to run separate relays, its possible they've decided not to have some factory pieces i want to keep. I can include a list of everything I plan to power using the pmu if that helps. Is there any major issues you guys can see with what I've done so far or perhaps a suggestion to help avoid using an external relay. Thanks
Not an experienced expert here. Just learning on my own journey.
But from doing my own output plans I'd say other here could help better if you post a list of your output requirements.
And those seem like items you would want to have the PMU control. Might be best to move some other more simple items to an external fuse box. You can have one of the channels that come on with accessory or ignition provide the power to switch a relay if needed.
