I am new to the forum.
6 months ago I retired as an Airlinepilot and now I am restoring a Series 3 Jaguar E-Type Roadster as my first project. Since the car was nice looking at the outside but in lousy condition as far as the technical side was and the engine performance was so bad that 3 days after I bought the car I dismantled it and found that 4 cylinders had broken rings. I decided to convert to EFI and ITBs to bring the engine to it’s real potential, the rest of the car stays original. The list of faults that I came across since I started would fill a small book.
I am still having fun restoring it.

At the moment it is mostly cleaning parts so by the time winter comes I want to reassemble the engine and start the EFI modification. I do already have ITBs but Jenvey could only supply manifolds that where made for Weber carbs and have to be modified because the injectors would be placed at the wrong side spraying onto the manifold wall instead of the back of the intake valve.
